This privacy policy explains how Langfield Financial Solutions ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit langfieldfs.com or contact us. What we collect

• Enquiries: if you complete our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, company and the content of your message. Contact form messages are delivered to us by email through our form provider, Web3Forms.
• Business relationships: if we work together, we may hold business contact details and correspondence relevant to that engagement.
• Website data: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process technical information such as IP addresses in server logs for security and performance purposes. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies: see Cookies and analytics below.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses a small number of cookies:

• Strictly necessary: lfs_consent remembers your cookie choice for six months.
• Analytics (only if you accept): Google Analytics (Google) measures visits and how pages are used, using cookies such as _ga and _ga_* (up to 13 months). Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) records how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) so we can improve the layout, using cookies such as _clck (one year) and _clsk (one day). Anything typed into the contact form is masked and never recorded.

Analytics cookies stay off unless you click Accept analytics in the cookie banner, and our lawful basis for analytics is your consent. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings at the foot of every page. We use analytics only to understand and improve this website; we do not use advertising cookies, and analytics data is not used to identify you or sold to anyone.

How we use it and our lawful basis

We use personal data to respond to enquiries, to explore and deliver our services, and to manage business relationships. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in operating our business and responding to you, or, where we enter into an engagement, the performance of a contract. We do not sell personal data or use it for automated decision-making.

Sharing

We share personal data only with service providers that help us operate (for example website hosting, email, contact-form delivery and website analytics providers), with professional advisers where necessary, or where required by law. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact, and engagement records for as long as necessary to meet legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; to object to or restrict its processing; and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email adam@langfieldfs.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
